Welcome to The Scott County Election Commission
Located in Huntsville, TN, the County Election Commission is responsible for conducting all federal, state and municipal elections in Scott county. All elections are held in compliance with State and Federal election laws. Other responsibilities include voter registration, candidate qualification, candidate petitions, legal notices, campaign financial record maintenance, ballot preparation, poll worker training, and voting machine maintenance. The Administrator of Elections is appointed by the County Election Commission. The current Administrator of Elections is Gabe Krahn.
EARLY VOTING PUBLIC NOTICE
Scott County Early Voting for the November 5, 2024 – PRESIDENTIAL, US & STATE GENERAL, MUNICIPAL & REFERENDUM ELECTION will begin on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, and end on Thursday, October 31, 2024. You may vote early at the Scott County Office Building, 2845 Baker Hwy, Huntsville, TN or the Oneida Municipal Building, 121 Municipal Drive, Oneida, TN.

Voters must present TN/Federal issued photo identification when appearing to vote at either early voting location. Proof of identity and correct/current address may be in the form of a current voter’s registration card, valid Tennessee Driver’s Licenses, Credit Card containing the voter’s signature, utility bill or etc.
