INFORMATION FOR VOTERS OF SCOTT COUNTY, TENNESSEE
Notice is hereby given that a US/State General and Town of Winfield Municipal Election will be held in all precincts of Scott County, Tennessee on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, from 8am – 8pm at all precincts to elect the following:

Registration Deadline: Monday, October 5, 2026. Any voter registration form mailed to the Election Commission office must be postmarked no later than October 5, 2026.

Notice to elderly voters and voters with disabilities –
Voters 60 years of age or older and voters with disabilities have the right to choose one of the following methods of voting if your precinct is inaccessible to you:
· Absentee-By-Mail Ballot. However, if you originally registered to vote by Mail, you must vote IN PERSON the first time you vote.
· In person during the Early Voting period. Remember to bring your ID.
· At the Election Commission office on Election Day. If voting in this manner, you must complete an affidavit, in person, at the Scott County Election Commission Office no later than October 24, 2026 stating that your voting precinct does not meet the requirements of the Disability Act.
The Early Voting period for the November 3, 2026, Election will be October 14- October 29, 2026
